Is Xibo free?

The CMS is open source, so self-hosting has no licence cost — you supply the server and the time. Xibo's own cloud hosting starts from £3.50 a display a month. ScreenRoll's first screen is free as a hosted service, with nothing to run.

Which is cheaper per screen?

Xibo's published cloud price is lower per display. ScreenRoll's price includes hosting, the Tizen app and advertising, and the first screen costs nothing.

Do I need a commercial licence for a Samsung TV?

Xibo's pricing page lists its webOS and Tizen players under commercial player software; its Windows and Linux players are open source. With ScreenRoll the Samsung Tizen app is free.
